Now that has to be a polarised sky, right? Well, maybe a polarizer plus the effect of being up so high in the mountains. It's so striking and so beautiful.

Well, not that you could go back and reshoot this (or maybe you can - I have no idea!), but I think this would have more impact if you'd gotten a bit lower to the ground so that the flags were cast against either the brighter and whiter parts of the mountains or against the blue sky.

As for the relevance to wind, I definitely see it in the flags at at the mountain peaks, but it's not the first thing I notice and I'm not sure it really contributes to what I like about this image, which is the crisp contrast of those mountain peaks against the sky.

It is ia polarized sky.
Not sure if it was the extreme hypoxia or the worst headache of my life that prevented the fine tuning of the polarizer or the flag placement in the frame.
