This is excellent, in my opinion. The angle that you captured them at, the lighting, and the sharp detail throughout the image makes it perfect for me. 5's.

Great idea but there is too much floor.

Nice work. Very unusual.

Interesting image - the foreground with the missing wood is clever !
Beamer said 285 days ago:
The hole in the floor is not explored and therefore not interesting, therefore it's just distracting. Other than that I like it. Bunch of Rebels???

Congrats on the feature, ChriZ. Well deserved.
I really don't get some of the comments people have been leaving this week, though. Too much floor? Isn't that the point of the shot, and what makes it so relevant to this theme?

Thank you all for your comments!
Yea Montage, I'm a bit confused too, thanks...
Ana, straight = boring (this was done for a band, bands want to be presented in a unusual way)
Orangganjil, don't you like floors?
Beamer, would you mind to elaborate on your comment. I respect what you said but it just doesn't really make any sense to me...
Rebels, band, similar people I guess ;)

well, that's why I said it was trendy. Not saying it's bad....just trendy.
More from a 'corner' and straight on would look super cool.
But hey, I'm not in a band, what do I know? :P

Congratulations on the double feature ChriZ. How did you get two consecutive images up at the same time though?
Beamer said 284 days ago:
"Rebels" was a term of endearment from me...a genuine southern hillbilly, prompted by the flag. I was asking if they were rebels(southerners). I have used the handle "Rowdy Rebel" for years.
My comment about the hole in the floor not being explored refers to the fact that that area of the photograph is out of the DoF and the light is falling off. The break in the lines of the floorboards created by the hole and the bright edge of the exposed board, without focus and light, makes it distracting to the great movement towards the band that the foreground otherwise generates. I really like this image and did sore it high, as did others, thus the feature!!
Congrats!!

i love the idea of this one, and the tilt is trendy, and I am wishing for a very straight shot instead. but high marks all the same.
