Easy there big fella!

This is technically well done and memorable. The picture is very busy though. As King would say, some judicious cropping is in order on both sides of the scissors wielder. Let's see if King in fact did say that.

In this case, having a theater background myself, I enjoyed seeing all the little telltales of the green room.

When I was shooting Luis Bravo's Forever Tango in January, I had the privilege of roaming around backstage between performances. As I was framing a shot of one of the violin players, another musician yanked my arm yelling, 'Marco, Marco, Come, Come!' He was so excited I thought that something was wrong, so I quickly followed him. As we went around the backstage curtain, it was immediately apparent what he wanted. Standing there was one of his fellow musicians attempting to cut some thread off of his fly! The man who came to get me motioned for me to take a picture of his pal.

So being a guy who appreciates the embarrassment at another fella's expense, I snapped the shot. As SOON as the poor fellow heard my shutter, he looked up and said, 'No Marco, NO!' His friend howled with laughter and Jorge, the stage manager had to come over to tell us both to be quiet, as the audience could hear us laughing.

I think I can figure this one out. He is with an orchestra, perhaps the conductor, and he has a problem with his tux, perhaps a loose string that he is trimming.

How close was I?

I was pretty close.

I work for 2 orchestras, so this scene was somewhat familiar. Usually it's women with strings hanging.
