Not sure.

Gorgeous! Too bad that the pond is littered with the paper (I'm anti-litter), but that doesn't keep me from admiring this beautiful b/w image. High marks.

The story:

I was at Commonwealth Park (Canberra, Australia)early one morning to take some pictures of flowers etc when I came across this.

Someone from www.bookcrossing.com had placed books on all the seats in the park and someone else, for some unknown reason, had torn one up and thrown it in a pond.

A picture made in heaven. I took some shots and quickly the current had taken the pages away and the image was gone.

I've tried working on the image a couple of times before but wasn't happy with what I ended up with.
Sometimes these things are best left alone until the stars or something are just right and the image creates itself with you just as a conduit for the image to come to life.

Wow.

Nice idea. Maybe would have worked a little better for me with a tighter angle on one of the bits of paper and perhaps a lower angle.

very nice color and softness

I love the softness of this shot however I wish that the top portion that is blown out had been cropped, but then you would have lost all those extra pages. I do want to know the story.

Only one I've given all 5's to. This is the best of the theme. The very best.
