This image really "pops" to me. I'm guessing some people won't go for the slightly blown-out nature of the spray emitting from the ship, but I think it adds a nice surrealness to scene, along with the extremely vivid blues.

That IS a lot of water. Cool shot. The sky at the left and right has a funky color to it though.

If not, excellent image. I think the post processing really adds to the image. I love the high contrast, green water and blown out streams from the fire boat.

I like this, but I feel like it's a little too over-processed. I want to see the subtle changes in tone that the water would naturally make. Maybe that's not what you were going for, though.

Over all, I dig it.

Also, just curious... Does anyone know why a ship would be spraying out water like that? What purpose does it serve?

(to lbstone) It's a fire/rescue boat so they're probably doing drills (because I don't see anything around them that would require they're assistance). The spray is to put out fires the way a fire truck would.

Oh yeah. These displays are so cool to see. I used to work at an airport and each new release aircraft got the fire crew "display". For water theme this one is hard to top.

Thanks everyone, this is one of those images I had a very clear vision for, the processing reflects that.

This fire boat was showing off as part of the Canada Day celebrations last year :)
