i would really love to guess who took this one, just like some others usually do, but since they are mostly wrong i won't ;). Love the take! high marks!

Ana said 505 days ago:

excellent. great idea for the theme.

Lemmingstone said 505 days ago:

Great shot. Love the processing here. Impact is very big also.

ArneG said 505 days ago:

Perfect timing

zulu said 505 days ago:

Just Wooowww!!! King!?

George said 505 days ago:

Great shot. Please give the setup story. I'd like to hear how you did it.

zulu said 505 days ago:

Also if you are not King, 25!! Did she land on her tummy?

George said 505 days ago:

Terrific shot Dan. Good to see you back :-)

Maybe it's because it's something I don't see every day, but this image really got my attention. It's a very unusual perspective for me. The bubble plumes must be amazing when seen as a large print.

cferroni said 505 days ago:

Not sure about the relevance but it's a cracking shot!

Nick said 505 days ago:

Nice blues and bubbles.

eggplant said 505 days ago:

I am very taken by the cloud-like formations that the bubbles make. If you think about it, they are clouds in reverse (formations of air in the moisture, rather than moisture in the air). A beautiful shot.

Zulu- No I'm not King. He's much older ;^). Hope he reads this. And no she dove in fairly straight, thought not perfectly, and this is her arching to return to the surface. Thanks.

George- Thanks. Liked the theme, figured I'd take a break from other stuff and pop in. The setup is simply an underwater viewing window at an indoor pool facility.

cferroni- I guess taking shots of subjects underwater is pretty common for you then? Otherwise I don't know how the relevance is missed as the more usual perspective is from above water.

eggplant- Now this comment I really enjoyed as I hadn't thought about it like that! Thanks.

Hummingbird said 505 days ago:

I'm interested in how you took this.

Hummingbird said 505 days ago:

...and now I know and all I can say is excellent.

Ade said 505 days ago:

awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

King said 504 days ago:

Hey Dan, welcome back and yes, I did read the comments. :>)

When I saw this shot, something in the back of my head said one word, "Dan." I've been swamped with work and haven't been participating much, but wanted to say congratulations on another feature and please don't be a stranger here.

This is absolutely beautiful, of course.

Haiete said 504 days ago:

Wow, that is very unusual. The most striking here is the position of the athlete; I bet one cannot really assume that pose out of the water :-)

dcreighton said 504 days ago:

King- I've been swamped as well which partially explains my lack of participation as well. Too many priorities! Thanks.
