can't say what it is, but something is missing in this shot. Something to *really capture my attention..maybe a leaf,rock..mmmh sry..

Relevant absolutely. I wish there was a bit more to the scene though, like if we could see some more of the beach or what's going on around to give it a bit more depth.

Thanks everyone. I was intending to put another photo up, but at the last minute remembered this one, so it's a nice surprise to be featured.

Ana & Tanja: This was shot in the middle of the day on a small island on the Great Barrier Reef, so yeah, light was pretty harsh. Particularly since it was shot with this - http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/nikoncp775/

To my humble opinion, contrast is too marked. But the sun condition (middle of the day in your beautiful country ;-) and the use of a Nikon Coolpix explain that. I wonder what is the impact of the "colored" version.
