This image is one part whimsy, one part bittersweet. I would have marked higher on composition if the foot and cane weren't cut off, but otherwise a fine image.

Uncommondepth, youre right, the shuesole and cane were a mistake :(

Lemmingstone, this picture carried the notion of End in multiple ways - at least for me :) First, the man is sitting on the edge - at the end, that is - of the bench. Then he is quite old, though he might be still alive and kicking, lets hope (the pic was taken last year). Thirdly, it was a day when tolreable weather tried its best for the last time before it gave way to the winter. Definitely the end of good weather for a while.
