Super idea, super execution, and to the point. Love this image. Great pre-visualization to set this up which is not always easy to do. Did you shoot this just for the theme?

Yeah, shot specifically for the WeeklyShot theme.

Had it in my head all week. But initially envisioned an adult reading to their child.... had neither of those in my household ;D - went to plan B. Trying to shoot - taking off my glasses at the end of a book.
I am worried a bit about the typeset due to the books age. It is a bit crooked and inconsistent from the pressing. Don't want it to look like I photoshopped it in...ya'know.
It is what it is and I appreciate the compliment!

Yes, I had the same idea but someone said to me once "this is too much into my face, let me use my imagination..."
I still think it's a nice idea, though...

Deb- I like it even more knowing you made it short notice just for the theme. It's good to think and get deeper into an image but sometimes it just nice to have it easy as a viewer too! I really enjoy when I can see that the photographer was thinking and deep into it too! That is part of what I really enjoy about this.
