I like the camera in camera technique. I think the shot would have worked better if the whole hand was included. If you recomposed so that the horses on the camera were visible, though blurred, in the background, it would also have more punch.

Hi George, thanks for stopping by. I was unsure about this one. I decided to make a pic this week that attempted to deal with the 'decisive moment' concept. This opportunity arose when I was cycling through London. The horse guards were changing over and this was attracting hundreds of tourists. The challenge I gave myself was to encapsulate this touristic ceremony into one composition. But, from your point of view I failed. Well, never mind, I did enjoy making this picture and felt I learnt a lot from participating in this Weekly Shot.

Shashin, hi and thanks and I agree with your comments. With a few hundred other people milling around I found I was dodging around, possibly annoyingly to other people, trying to 'trap' this tourist with his camera and his view of that event. I haven't tried this 'involved' photography for some time so this weeks theme gave me the impetus to explore and learn.
