Nice catch. I'm not sure how I feel about the crop, though. I can see why you did it that way, but at the same time, there's something jarring about it that I can't explain. Sorry! I guess that doesn't help you much.

it's a great shot, and i like it very much, but why is it "the decisive moment"?

I love this.

A fabulous image but an average relevancy to me, not poor but doesn't quite convey that "moment" in my mind.

Nice format, composition and tones.

The view was not clear (of other ppl not reading) from where I was for a long time. In that way it was a "decisive moment" for me, when all fell in to place, and I got the shot. But I understand some of the comments that it is not an "action shot" that a split second later, the moment would not be there any more.

Thanks for all the comments.

this is cool...really makes use of the panaromic format with repeating elements throughout. everything is spot on, message is strong...excellent.

i think it's filled with decisive moments. perhaps not what the theme was actually implying, but while reading each story on the pages of the newspapers those people are deciding whether to accept what they are being told through mass media or to formulate their own opinions that shape their outlook on life and more simply the rest of their day. Perhaps even formulating them in that particular moment. Very thought provoking for me.

Fits the theme perfectly, "moment" is key in this theme and this one is definitely full of mini-moments...great work.

as i said in the newsgroup, i think this image fits the theme superbly. so glad to see it made the homepage.

I really like this. The crop is a bit severe, though it obviously makes its point. To me this says something deeper about the state of humanity than any of the other featured images. And I think that's a significant aspect of Bresson's work. Whether it's humor, war, love, or poverty, Bresson's images always evoke a sense of the toil of humanity. This images goes a long way to that end. Well done.
