Wood has some great texture. I should know being an avid woodsman, lumberjack and all. Diagonals work well here also.

Perfectly framed and great color. The little holes definitely add visual interest for me.

Quite a lot of texture to wood. This looks like if a piece broke I'd be in a black hole.

I like the composition but it says "lines" to me rather than "texture." Perhaps some different lighting and an angled shot would have brought out the texture of the wood? Nice shot, though.

Yes, love that wood texture. I like the composition with the nail holes included, the deep spaces between the wooden slates. All in all a great shot. I'm wishing for a little more light on it though, maybe not so dark.
