I can't put my finger on what is missing here. It needs something. I like the texture representation.

Cool, like this a lot. I might have cropped a little tighter to loose the area in shadow at the left of frame and may try to show more of the foreground bar a the left edge of frame. It seems to have great texture. High Marks!!

Good use of background and DOF! The right edge is a little bit distracting, but it doesn't cose you a single point. :)
