I appreciate the placement of the subject and the framing. Is the skin too yellow? My gut reaction is that I don't really like it that well, but you know..I've spent a lot of time looking at it. So there's something to it.

I like how the flare hides your eyes. It really makes this image for me. It adds a level of mystery, of question. You're hiding but not. Nicely done.

I think the eyes are the most important aspect of a self-portrait. That's (imo) what really reveals us. Good image, though.
