I like it but I think the dof is way too narrow> I don't like that "nose out of focus" look :)

Yeah, I agree - my nose really is out of focus, which looks kind of silly. I just desperately wanted to contribute to this topic before it ended. Once again (as every Self-Portrait theme) I happen to be traveling, so I have limited tools available. But I kind of like the result.

My 2 cents' worth is that this would be better without the distracting shadow on the right (difficult to clone out given the interesting texture of the wall, but could have been fixed with a different composition to begin with...), and there is an excessive softness around the lower part of the face. The nose and lips almost seem out of focus.

I add this only because I think it otherwise is a strong portrait.
