It's relevant alroight. Something seems strange about the bokeh though, and it is distracting me from the subject.

The blurred background have an unpleasant effect for my eyes... It may be particularly concerning of me only.

Not much to explain about the background here... it is an old can in the desert, shot at f2.8 with a fancy lens- no real processing was done.
