Now that's careful observation. Other than rust, this bottlecap seems to be in good shape. I wonder why the out-of-focus pebbles at the top seems to swirl in a circular pattern.

This is a bottle cap that has been resting undisturbed on the roof of a building for probably 10+ years. The pebbles are rooftop asphalt.

Steve, I just saw this shot for the first time. I like it a lot! The swirly effect of the pebbles at the top of the frame is interesting, and I think your composition is spot on. Niiiice!
