This has a haunting quality to it. It has a strong impact and could be used to make a any number of statements.

I'm not trying to overdo it on the comments at all. This is the first image that I looked at after scrolling through the thumbnails. It is well composed, interesting, and perfect for the theme. Some how the manequin even looks pensive.

This does have an almost disturbing effect - she looks quite sinister - if you cover the hair and eyes, the tonal quality makes it look almost human!

thank you all for your thoughts. i love the human qualities that mannequins portray as well. this image is entitled 'ode to yesteryear' and to me she looked pensive and a bit sad. i can see the haunting and even sinister references as well.

this was shot with my canon ae-1, canon fd 50mm f/1.4 lens, and kodak bwc 400 film.

You dont get much better than that oldschool 50 1.4, been on the hunt for another old manual camera, prices are insane on those things lately. I really want a Nikon F2, but I just cant justify the price right now.

Again, great capture.

Gorgeous - it has a great abstract-art feel. I hope you make a HUGE print of it.
