The 'snowflake' pattern made by the trees is just beautiful ... an altogether lovely and serene shot. It would have looked amazing in a square format with the hut and trees midway -

I like but I think the weight/ balance is wrong.

Simply marvellous. It seems so peacful or shall we say "reflective."

Not anything personal towards phototext, but these are the reasons I've never wanted to take a photography class. I look at this photo and see the beautiful scene that it is and imagine myself being there. I think once rules have set in your brain then the beauty is chained down. Nature, lakes, and cute little huts on the waterside have no rules. Lovely photo. :D

personally, i like the weight/balance. when you're on a boat in the middle of a lake and you are coming around a bend and see something (like the hut), that's how you see it.... imagine continuing the boat's movement around the little peninsula such that the frame pans to the right, so you eventually will get more land, and less water as you maintain focus on the hut.
the image here gives you the view of what it might look like as you first take notice of the hut, and makes you want to see more of it.

some toniing touchups might give it a little more pop, but either way i still want a print!

love this shot. not only are the reflections great, but the image puts me in a reflective mood as well. i think the composition is just fine. maybe a slight burn of the distant shore on the left may have worked.

Truly a outstanding piece!
The overall tones, the composition, the details right where you need it the most, ... love it!
I don't think I would change a thing with it!!
