what this says to me is "wet;" it could be dew or watering as much as rain; very beautiful shot, however; i am particularly taken with the course-grained background with subject sharp and fine-grained

I love the way the drops look on this leaf, but I don't like the background. It really takes away from the 'natural' site of the drops on the leaf. This would have much more impact in it's natural setting.

i agree with both of you, about the relevance it's more wet than rain, actually when I took this picture, it was raining, and I saw this leave in the top of my car hood. So there is no studio/photoshop effect in here :)

about the background I love the grainy effect but i hate the color. next time i will try with natural background. once again thank you for your comment and input, i really appreciate it.
