this is really appealing to me, and I didn't think it would be with the thumbnail. But I really like it. I'm not sure I get 'old' from the posting, but I like the shot very much.

Not relevant at all, I am sorry but can´t find any reference to think it is old

Great take on the theme! I love this.
I wish there was just a bit more range in the tones. I love the atmosphere, but I want to see some dark branches and some light branches hidden in the fog.

This is a fantastic image with a great feeling of depth. Very impressive.

Looks like it might have been standing for a good, long while.
Too close a crop and too busy for me this one I think though, and a bit washed out due to what I assume is mist?

I'm not sure if I like it or not, but it is strange, which is good in my book. I want the tree to recede even more into the fog. It's a neat photo.

Thank you for all your comments ... I might just try playing with the tones in photoshop and see if it's possible to produce a little more layering, depth.

Wow, didn't see this till now. This could be awesome. Did you shoot this on film? Digital?
tony said 519 days ago:
This is a digital pic, made on a Nikon8400.
I like the idea that it could be 'awesome', but have limited ideas on how I could improve this image!

A curves adjustment in photoshop would probably help to give you a little more contrast. I wouldn't do much though. It's pretty darned cool the way it is.

Thanks Jack, I'll try playing with the curves in photoshop - I really need to teach myself to use this software well.
btw, I was using a coolpix 990 when I made this pic (not the 8400).

Interesting layering in the branches.
