Are those buildings to the left, behind the main subject really discolored like that or is that some heavy handed photoshop work? I'm seeing the same sort of thing near the smoke stack, near the top of the image, and down on the bottom in the foreground roof.

This pic is a HDR image. You mean the dark parts?! I see now where you it say. Arrghhh... I must learn to controll bether my pics before i upload it...

Yeah, I was talking about the dark parts. I think you're seeing the same thing I am now. It must have something to do with the HDR processing.

Yep, tats a problem of the tonemapping process. But its possible to make the dark places away with a little bit more fingertips feeling.

To the process, yes I now.

In the zoom, he looks direct to the cam. I think, he is wondering, what is so special for make a picture in his direction.

I really like the processing you did on this, I do think the composition could have been a bit improved, maybe just by cropping it a bit (lower left the hint of the green shutters and the window)

Love it. I do so like these old signs painted on the side of buildings and have been wishing I could get a good shot of one for ages. HDR is great in this shot with all the details in the roof tiles/shingles and old walls to be brought out.

This old building was the beginning of "Toblerone" chocolate at 1899!!! The founders created this legendary chocolate there!

I do like the light to this. It makes for a great effect. The only thing that bugs me is the roof looks like it has been overly burnt but I am presuming this must be the HDR effect. Lovely detail and tones though. A bygone era.

Wow, I have stood in this same bridge and taken a picture of this same building. Yours is a much better picture than mine though. Bern, Switzerland is a beautiful place.
