Deadline Thursday, June 8th, 2006
This week our goal is to find good uses for noise and grain. If the grain really "works" in a particular instance, then we'll consider it relevant. If it feels forced or unnatural, we'll have to mark you low. (And, of course, if there's no noise at all, that will work against you as well.)
This is what zinkwazi had to say when he suggested the theme:
Everywhere I look, little noise ninjas are frantically cleaning house and I say, "Enough!"
Some of the most wonderful and famous photos in history are full of noise (or grain) so for this theme, crank your ISO up to 1600 (or shoot fast film) and let's see some beautiful grainy art!
