I used to be accused of cheating when posting a shot like this. This is so obviously Mark. Maybe not everyone knows this is Tracy, but, nevertheless, this is simply an excellent photograph. I love it.

It seems like Tracy just can't keep from being featured these days. :>)

Hmmmm....while the bridge says something about your neighborhood, I am not sure the recognizable WS contributor in the picture does.

I am curious, though, about the halo above the bridge struts is from. It almost looks like a double exposure of the bridge...

Craig, the 'halo' is not a halo at all and NOT indicative of your sister as you well know! There are very thin lines that are cables above the main span cable of the bridge. This was taken at the Marin Headlands where the view of the bridge is stunning. Sometime we'll do a night shot up there. It's damn windy up there as you can tell!

Great picture! I think I have a couple of pictures from close to this same spot. I wonder what it would have looked like with the person on the left side? Just a thought...

afieldon, it's difficult enough to photograph an unwilling photographer, so asking her to move anywhere would have been a complete royal pain in the ass! I'm just happy she wasn't flipping me the bird in this image like she did in so many others! Photographers make the WORST subjects!

This image conforms nicely to the theme goal, but at the same time the impact just isn't there fore me. It serves as a very nice snapshot,but fails to go beyond that.

Thanks mysight. The 'cutie' in the image is Tracy Martin, (mtmartini) here on WS. She is visiting me this week and we were up in the Marin Headlands enjoying one another, the beauty of the Bay Area and the wonderful weather.

If this picture just had some Blue Angels flying over it..... lol. That bridge is an unmistakable icon and clearly a big part of your neighborhood. Is that tourist who I think it is?

Jack I DO have one of the Blue Angels flying over the bridge. And yes, that's Tracy Martin (mtmartini) who was visiting me for the week. It was not really windy up there. Her hair always looks like that!
