I love it ! Great composition. High marks.

The perspective of this shot is great. I also think the repeating patterns of each of the windows makes the picture very appealing. The black and white makes the picture clean and crisp. I wonder what that person is doing down at the intersection?

It's nice to be able to see over the rooftops of the smaller buildings. Nice b/w work here. I like the well-aligned reflection in the glass. Makes me want to know more.

High marks.

I love this one. Could have used a bit more contrast, but it is perfect.

pursang said 487 days ago:

Hope you weren't leaning out too far! Someone might have thought you were going to jump. Overcast days make lighting even, but can render an image 'flat' in terms of contrast. Did you boost it much?

nattfodd said 487 days ago:

Thanks all, this is from my balcony, about two meters from where I am currently sitting ;-)

@pursang: they would only have thought a big camera was about to commit suicide, then, for I didn't aim through the viewfinder for this one.
Contrast has already been seriously boosted, as can be seen in the tree on the lower-left corner. I could have done it a bit more in the central area with a couple of mask/layers, but I figured it would make it look more artificial (but it's probably because I'm not a very good photoshopper). I can give raw/tiff versions if you want to give it a try.

Not afraid of heights, eh? I love the tones and contrast of the image. The white space of the sky is not too much to distract from the strict organization of the subject matter. Well done.

That's a neigborhood alright. Germany in winter?

nattfodd said 487 days ago:

@Flatline: almost, Sweden in late winter.

I really really like this one. a Fave so far. I can really see the neighborhood.

King said 487 days ago:

Ana,
For some reason when I first opened this shot I thought of you--not because of the architecture or the landscape...something about the style.
