One little question about the image. Why did you choose that spot to focus on? I mean it works, but I just don't know why... The usual thing you'd probably focus on would be the fingers, but I'm not sure if it would look better.

that's the point chriz "... the usual thing" :-)
you can find millions with the focus on the fingers :-) and some with the focus on the "music": the string and the bar.

I was expecting a deep theoretical photography rule, but this is fine ;)
Although there doesn't seem to be a hand making the music (strumming the string) anywhere!

I didn't get to rate this one, but would have surmised that it's you Vernon. Classic artistic flair in the composition and use of dof. And the grain is so well used. Nicely done my friend.
