This is very well done. You've done two things that I wouldn't have done that probably work to make this shot more successful than my version may have been:
1. The light is coming from underneath the subject, which is usually a way to make someone look sinister. In this case, it works to make the listener more angelic
2. The background is over-exposed. In this case, it works to make a more prounounced halo around the angel's head.

The only criticism is that the halo is not balanced, but that's minor, given that this is nothing more than a WeeklyShot submission, where perfection is neither demanded nor paid for.

This sumbission here already helped me in my photography, once again your photography and at the same time the theme which got me going in the first place. well if it wasn't for weeklyshot I wouldn't have bought mirrors and plexi glass yesterday! =)

Sorry ChriZ, I am all for photoshopped work but I really feel that this image stands alone without the notes, my own preference I suppose. Still it is a nice shot and should feature. :-)

Tracy, I told him to turn off the music, but he had to leave it on, so cloning out all the notes would have been quite difficult...
Erm, thanks for your honest comment, you are right that the image stands very well on it's own without the notes, but for the theme I thought it wouldn't be enough to post someone listening to music, rather than having the music itself in the image somewhere!

You misunderstand me. My comment, "nothing more than a WeeklyShot submission" was meant as a high compliment (as was my "Swiss ethos" remark). I would have charged $thousands for a photo like this, yet you appear to have created it effortlessly just to make us happy. Amazing.

...and the 25 points I assigned this shot was a silent compliment, as well.

Yea I got it now, I knew it was a compliment in the first place but still interpreted it differently.
