how could this have only gotten three comments? glad it hit the front page- this was the idea I was looking for when i suggested this theme.

I've been having a discussion (Mostly with myself) on a shot that only got one comment(mine) out of 14 ratings. It's an incredible, beautiful shot. I can't believe that 13 other people rated it and had NOTHING TO SAY. There are folks that are members here, that insist that the comments and conversation are one of the main reasons they're here, yet they rate some of the shots without commenting at all. Then they post their own shots and wait for folks to comment on them.
And yes, even "nice shot" or "don't see the relevance" is better than nothing, as long as its sincere.

Well first off, I must say that I really appreciate the comments and the high ratings. It's so hard to tell what people see and think about your work when they don't at least say something. Still I understand that there are different lives, different schedules and different time zones on here so I'll just say that I appreciate everything.

This photograph was a result of a Friday night at home, with nothing to do and a curious mind. I took lots of photos...some simple, like this...and some a bit more active....such as me dancing around the room. (Glad no one had to see THAT)....all while waving a little flashlight.

The light does indeed, spell the word "No"...simply because a word like "Fuggtards" (my other option) was too long and difficult to create with the light.

Its good to hear you appreciate the comments, flip. You stepped over (speedrated?) my image to post your next, strangely without commenting...;)

But Im not bitter, some people are just like that you know.. fuggtard. (great word btw)

Stolenlife - I probably "stepped over" your image which I normally wouldn't do. I don't like to speedrate...not my style....and in reference to my commenting habits, I usually rate AND comment on photos. But for reasons unbeknownst to myself, I've been somewhat quiet and isolated lately...words haven't come as easily to me so I've sort of been avoiding that part of it....but I'll come around......and yes, fuggtards is a great word....very humorous.....heard it just a few days ago for the first time from a very good friend. Thanks for the comment and for the lack of bitterness.

Hum, I wonder how I managed to miss this shot. This is just brilliant. Not only the light painting (which is becoming very fashionable these days) but also the dark atmosphere (the beautiful texture of the right wall won me over). I wouldn't be shocked by this photo being on the poster of a terror movie.
