too under-exposed, and the composition needs a bit of work.

This image doesn't do much for me. My eye loops around the frame, and can't find a place to settle. I also find the background distracting. Perhaps a shallower depth of field would have helped. I do like the cold, bleak feeling the flat light, and grey tones give.

I like this shot, but perhaps a wider angle of the gate would have made it stand out a bit more and drawn more attention to the lines themselves rather than the centered lock of the gate?
