You often see joy in the faces of children, but much less frequently on the face on an adult. That is certainly NOT the case here.

It is refreshing to see this sort of happiness being experienced by an adult and coming from somthing as simple as feeding pigeons. So many people have the opportunity to go out and do something easy and inexpensive like this and perhaps get the same kind of joy from it, but they rarely ever do (myself included).

I'm glad you were there to capture this.

I did the obligatory feed the pigeons thing in London once and one 'left a deposit' on my head !!!

Strange how we get such joy out of really weird things like feeding pigeons!

Ack! This would terrify me, rather than bring joy...however, this guy looks like he's having a good time, so it's definitely relevant. I wish his body was oh-so slightly facing the camera a little more and the girl is a bit distracting, but hey, what can you do in that quick situation, right?

Gorin, Delineated : yeah I was happily shooting something else when this one caught the corner of my eyes.. so it was "almost" a point and shoot affair. ;)

Cat : I know what you meant. I was "bombed" by them before too. This was was taken Venice.

DOF is spot on, nice capture without a lot of blur from the wings. Warm expression on the man's face. Overall, I like how you composed the shot. Nice work indeed.
