Ha! Thanks Tracy. It's not often that I upload the same shot to both sites at the same time, but I took this today and I thought it fitted both themes so well.

Thanks mysight. Not at home (as much as my wife wishes she could play the cello). I took a series of similar shots at a concert today. The cello itself isn't the "in my life" part of the image, but music in general.

I was going to add that I like the contrast, which brings out the wood grain.

Nice composition, although I would like to see more of the bow, to get more of the feel of the cello being played. Perhaps a little more contrast too?
