No, this is me coming to grips with a hyper-active auto-focus. I'm still more of a manual-focus kind-of-guy, so this was going to be a lovely mother-son shot when Tiny Flatline reached for the lens... which then refocused.
Gotta hand it to Canon and their fancy L lenses... this being a cropped result from the 16-35mm f/2.8 L.

Every serious photographer should have one.

"hand" heh heh. Nice strong perspective and DOF. The harsh bokeh of the people in the back are a little distracting, and it would have been nice if the woman was looking towards the camera too.

That woman has the posture of a dancer.
Out for a day with the happy family. Photos of children grow more precious over time. Was this shot just for the "Hands" theme? It's very well done. High marks.
