Wow. Definitely geometry. But it's hard for my eye (brain?) to enjoy both of the main elements. They're both so strong that they seem to compete for attention. The background is especially impressive.

There's a very interesting new building that was put up in Berlin about 6 years ago - The Sony Center. It has a giant odd-shaped courtyard with a sort of tent over it. The background is the tent, and the foreground is the anchor mechanism that holds it together.
Amity - good point. With all the shooting I did there, it never occured to me to shoot just the tent (the background) - even though the light on was lovely.
