Saudade!

King said 270 days ago:

So dramatic and beautiful it almost hurts. High marks. Bye!

JimiThing said 270 days ago:

I had been sitting on this shot for a few months just hoping to be able to use it here. Farewell everyone.

That's an amazing sunset! The little silhouette adds interest to this shot, though I would have liked it not to be so centered vertically.

Hummingbird said 270 days ago:

This one just makes me feel sad.

pete said 270 days ago:

thats certainly a dramatic sky!!

Beamer said 270 days ago:

Beautiful!! As are ALL of you guys!!

Normally I get a little sick of sunset sky shots, but this one is unique and wonderful. It's almost as if the sky is layered, blue, cloud, blue, cloud. Fantastic.

"I can see Daniel waving goodbye..."

kadenajack said 269 days ago:

... or is is JimiThing doing the waving?

stolenlife said 269 days ago:

A beautiful shot, and farewell - as in safe journey

Jeff said 269 days ago:

Beautiful shot...and very relevant. I never tire of sunsets and this one is better than many....

...the plane, the plane. (why do I feel like Ricardo Montelbaum's sidekick?)

I love the feeling that clouds and sunsets like this take on through a telephoto lens. Gives them this amazing quality like the swirling storms of Jupiter.

Nicely done.

I didn't get to rate this but clearly, you didn't need it. So I'll just say that this is a beautiful photograph and congratulate you on your feature.

JimiThing said 269 days ago:

Thanks everyone. I am indeed saddened by this final feature. There's nothing like seeing that star next to your name. I shall miss it.
