I don't get a sense of farewell with this one. Perhaps if the face wasn't obscured. I like the setting.

Sittin' in a railway station, waitin' on my destination.....I like this kind of focus a lot!
King said 118 days ago:
Except that this type of setting is common along rail sidings, I seem to recognize this place. It can't possibly be Austin, Texas, but that's what comes to mind for me. It evokes a certain nostalgia and sense of either uncertainty, going away or coming back.
High marks.
Bye!

Hey, ChriZ, great that you've contributed at least one last image. It's unusual for you to post such a simple image, but simple is good in my book. The fact that the woman's face is turned away forces us to imagine her expression, which works well in this context.
Cheers, my friend. I intend to stay in touch.

I appreciate the longing glance... composition and technique are also high.

Looks like a great place for portraits. I love the framing you chose for this.

@ChriZ..nice way to go out. I see that your skills have not gotten rusty over at OnExposure.Net. :>)
Congratulations on the feature.

Thank you everyone, I'm happy for every minute I invested into this community.
Many of you know that some of my weirdest photographs were inspired by even weirder themes here on Weeklyshot.
I won't think too long about what else to write since it could be gone altogether in the next minutes...
Trixi, how nice to see you here. Yes, I'm still exercising what they call photography, I'm giving my best, and I'm glad you like it.
King, I would have loved to go and create an Image, right! it is creating an image... not looking for one. Unlike in previous themes, I just did not have the time.
I'll better finish this now before the site collapses =) *click
