Like the detail of the skin, lips and eye... Might need a bit more light on the right side.

A tad oversharpened and I might have cropped a bit off the right hand side of the image but overall a great shot and wonderful expression.

Sharp and stark. I like the dark side of the face and how the eye manages to show itself just a little over there. I think perhaps there is too much catch light in that other eye though.

This is nicely executed, but somehow lacks impact for me. It did make me look at it twice before rating however.

Thanks for the comments everyone, and the feature! This is a self portrait that I took using my living room lamp, and a piece of white printer paper to reflect some light back on the left side of my face.
