Ha! Great capture. I would have prefered a tighter shot of him, but still a fab photo.

Great capture! One immediately gets a sense of the subject's personality, more so than most of the portraits posted so far.

In many ways I really like this shot - his expression is priceless - but i) I find the figure on the far right a bit distracting (maybe a square crop would have been stronger), and ii) the image appears to be a little flat, especially in the mid-tones.

I can guess this fellow personality - it certainly shows through

Very good. I find the half face at the right distracting, and suggest cropping the image so that is all in, or all out.

I love the expression, looks like a hard trick to perform!...

I really, really enjoy this shot. However, to me it is not "dramatic" but instead humerous. Excellent, however!

thanks everyone for those thoughts. i do indeed feel this is dramatic as in relation to 'of or pertaining to the theater'. this little scene was some spontaneous street drama at it's finest! as for cropping i guess that is a personal preference. i like the bonus of another person on the edge of the frame who is missing all the action and do not feel a portrait has to be right in the subject's face. i did another one here of that variety as well and rarely repeat my entries. but hey, that is just me! ;-)
