Sadly, I agree. I thought the forced perspective would help a bit.

I never get tired of looking at this and, of course, the best place to look at it would be where the photographer was standing...there in Paris!

rosedaddy...I don't agree at all. Unless someone has never been around large, steel, manmade structures, I think it is clear that this is a very large structure, with plenty of visual cues as to its size. Not only that, the fact is that we *do* know what it is.

Would you say that an outstanding portrait of a person is less good if you recognize and, perhaps, admire the subject?
