The first thing I noticed were the strings...and I thought...well it's not balance if there are strings..
then I thought about the apple..and it appears balanced...
I like that it looks like a sculpture in a park might look..
this baffles and intrigues me.

Wires, without, it was difficult, and I'll probably post a version on my blog without wires. So to answer the question, the wires aren't real. The balance was achieved in photoshop, I just tested my new workstation and merged some high res images, the original file has a resolution of about 80mp (incl. the white negative space)
