the 2 dots are pretty good to be recognised by silhouette as another gulls :)

On my monitor, they look more like double-crested cormorants. Are those Rolyan buoys off on the horizon?

I don't know... could be buoys or the pillars from the coronado bridge.
this shot was taken at the coronado beach in san diego, late september this year.
expired fuji velvia and crossed developing. cam was a hasselblad 503cw with 80mm lens.

I recognized the blad film carriage markings. I was pulling kadenajacks leg regarding the cormorants and the buoys (as if I had much more detail on my monitor than he has on his).

Nice work, by the way.

I like it, though I don't give it such high marks as it does not really surprise that much in terms of perspective, composition etc. Very nice light and reflections, though, well executed.
